Now that you have a Narrow Path Hosting website, what do you do?

Here is a list of the first three things you should do first.

1. Custom header graphic

If you have a Church Website template, check the corresponding forum for information about the template header graphic. You will need to have a graphic person (we can connect you up with one). Give them the dimensions and file type (e.g. png, gif, jpg). Give them the site URL and have them create a custom graphic. Once you have it you can log into the back end, use JoomlaXplorer, browse to the template image directory and upload the file, making sure you use the correct filename.

OR - just email it to us and we'll do it for you.

Remember we will add a text header with your church name to get you started.

2. Learn - review the forums, and the content in our website to learn as much as you can about your site and how this Joomla Content Management System works. Also, check:

This site contains online training classes that cover using and managing your website using Joomla.

3. Edit your content - the site comes with a "churchadmin" user (password emailed to you). Login to the site using this username and you will be able to edit any of the content you see on the site.

After you login, every Content Article Item will have a tiny "paper-and-pencil" icon next to the article's title. If you click on this icon, your browser and website will go into edit mode. The content will be re-displayed inside an online editor.

Read the content tips. They may help guide you.

Make any changes to the content or formatting. Then when you are done, click on the diskette icon at the top of the editing area (not the formatting menu) and the changes you make are saved.

Note: Although the editor shows formatting while editing, the exact look may vary slightly. So, move back and forth between the editor and the display (edit-save-display) to get the page look just the way you want.
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable
