Pray from your heart
Before you pray, remember what the Lord said through Ezekiel,
"30 "As for you, son of man, your countrymen are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, 'Come and hear the message that has come from the LORD.' 31 My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words, but they do not put them into practice. With their mouths they express devotion, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. 32 Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice." Ezekiel 33:21-33
Lord, my awesome Lord, Christ Jesus, my savior
I give you my heart, my soul, my mind, my strength
Do what you will with me
Thank you for your grace and love
Thank you for the things of this world that keep me alive for you
Thank you for the things of this world that keep my family alive for you
Through you, I pray for strength to walk your path
Through you, I pray for wisdom to discern your will
Through you, I pray to make the right decisions each day at work for you
Through you, I pray for your guidance to those I mistrust
Through you, I pray for those that have not yet accepted you
For this day, help me find peace
For this day, help me find joy
For this day, keep me from sin
I make this prayer in humility, fear and love
